Sunday, September 25, 2022, the North Haven Rotary Club will present its 18th Annual Day

of Wine and Roses Wine Tasting Competition & International Food Festival at the Forget Me Not

Flower Shop on 39 State Street and on the adjacent property, All Star Automotive at 45 State

Street in North Haven from 1 :00 - 5:00 pm.

This event is our largest fund raiser of the year and supports numerous charities, most of which

are local, such as the Food Pantry; Senior Center; Career Comer in the Town Library; Scouting.

Special Olympics; Boys & Girls Clubs; Dictionary Project for third graders; Best Buddies, and

Rachel's Challenge at the middle school; Project Graduation, scholarships, and awards at the

high school and college level; and countless causes that support children (and families) who may

suffer from serious illness or in need of food and clothing.

The afternoon includes wine tasting with the opportunity to vote for your favorites, the enjoyment

of food and beverages from restaurants and other donors throughout the area; the chance to

enter raffles for valuable gifts and floral arrangements; the opportunity to bid on a variety of

auction items: the ability to observe cooking demonstrations and review the various goods and

services that vendors display; and the good fortune to witness some outstanding vocalists and

instrumental performances which are a highlight of the festivities.

The ticket price is only $40.

Donors to any of the activities listed above enjoy certain perks such as an ad in the program and

recognition at the event, as well as press coverage. Corporate sponsorships are also available
